Julio Dal Poz is a veteran of the energy industry, with over 20 years of experience in upstream exploration, energy markets, and clean energy transition. He is currently a consultant at FTI Consulting, where he helps energy firms design their own transition strategies for the future. Dal Poz started his career as an engineer on deepwater oil drilling rigs.

He then worked as an analyst and consultant for upstream explorers and energy markets, where he covered a variety of topics, including digital tech and transformation. In his most recent role at Equinor, he was head of the Advisory Board for Strategy, where he worked on the company’s clean energy transition. Dal Poz is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at global energy events. He is also a member of the London Business School Energy Alumni Club.
